The Story
Trackion originated from an earlier analytics experiment developed by P8labs called StatStream. StatStream focused primarily on website analytics and reporting, with an emphasis on lightweight event collection and operational simplicity. While useful, the project eventually revealed broader opportunities around telemetry, application monitoring, runtime controls, and product intelligence.
As P8labs expanded its portfolio of products, the need for a more capable and extensible observability platform became increasingly apparent. Existing third-party solutions introduced limitations around customization, pricing, and data ownership.
